Marty was raised on disco, rock, soul, funk and pop music of the 70's and 80s. In the early 80's, he found hip hop and modern rock. This made for an easy transition into electronic music in the early 90's. Attending his first rave dance party in 1992. He quickly fell in love with the scene and its music. Marty attributes his desire to become a DJ to a cassette tape he bought at a rave.... Jeno "Energy". After hearing this mixtape, Marty knew he wanted to be a DJ. Marty started buying records and began DJing at small house parties. He took all his musical knowledge and fused it all together. After 9 years of DJing, he started to produce music with Hogi (Electrogusto, SF/Jakarta) as the B.O.T.s, with RAF ONE (TokyoElectric, SF) as pH and with Jeno (Wicked, SF) as White Noize. Currently he spreads his musical vision through his podcast, sassafras.podomatic.com and international Dj gigs.
